Dr. Lindsey Elswick is a 2021 graduate from Mississippi State University.
She focused her studies on exotic pet medicine and had the opportunity to extern with many specialists in the field as well as travel to South Africa to work with native wildlife. Immediately after graduation, she returned to her home state of West Virginia where she worked at a 24/7 clinic with a focus on providing routine and emergency care to various exotic species. She is passionate about providing exceptional care to all species, and she hopes to one day specialize in reptile and amphibian medicine/surgery. Her special interests include reptile husbandry, soft tissue surgery in exotic species, and preventative care. She looks forward to meeting all of your scaly, feathered, and furred family members!
Outside of work, Dr. Elswick enjoys weightlifting and competing in Strongman sanctioned events, tending to her plants, reading, and pinning entomology specimens. She shares her home with a myriad of pets including 5 cats, 2 ferrets, a Burmese python, an Ackie monitor, an Argentine tegu, and a variety of dart frogs.
