Wellesley Animal Hospital has a well equipped in house laboratory. We are able to check for parasites, perform Complete Blood Counts and Chemistry Profiles. These tests are performed by our Licensed Veterinary Technicians and results can be available to the doctors within minutes. This allows us to perform pre-anesthetic blood work on the same day as your pet’s procedure. This means accurate information for the doctor and one less visit for your pet. Tests that cannot be performed in our laboratory are still handled by our staff and sent to the appropriate laboratories. These results are often available the next day.
